On Monday, February 2nd, the Panthers took on Roland Park here at home. In the opening quarter they raced to a lead of 22-9. Their smothering defense only allowed the Roland Park team three points in the second quarter and at the half it was the Panthers leading by 26.
Tasia Bristow led the scoring with 12 points and 5 boards followed by Breezy Hutchen with 10 to go along with 8 rebounds. Shatyra Hawkes had five assists and ten steals to lead the team in both of those departments. Once again the entire team got quality time which should infuse some confidence in those players who may be called upon in the playoffs.
